PANTONE for the Product Design Workflow

If you are involved in home design, consumer electronics, decorative cosmetics, or toys, the Pantone Fashion, Home +Interiors System is for you!

The 2534 Pantone Colors for Product Design are available in three versions: varnish coating on paper, as cotton textiles, and as paints on plastic. To ensure the best visual match, we recommend using the material format that most closely matches your end application.

Pantone's Paint Color is the heart of product design. It is designed to represent the appearance of color on a product. Paint Color is the tool for understanding color achievability and specifying colors for paints, coatings, pigments, textiles and leather applications. Whether you're on the go or in the office, Pantone's FHI Guides are available in both a handy fan format and a removable chip book format .

If you work with textiles, use the Cotton Guide! The cotton colors are made with globally available dyes that are formulated for color fastness and color consistency.

When you are in the office or sitting at your desk, use the FHI Color Specifier and Guide Set to be able to tell production partners the exact color for your product.

Palette Development Tools - Color is fun, play with it!

Removable swatches allow you to work with all your color palettes instantly and pin them to mood boards, increasing your confidence in your color choices. The Cotton Chip Set and Cotton Swatch Library make it easy to create color palettes. The Cotton Swatch Library is the only reference that includes cotton fabric in a two-ply and un-reinforced format, approximately 5x5cm in size, allowing the largest and truest representation of each individual Pantone color.

Working with skin tones - Pantone has the right tool for you!

110 skin tones for inspiration and color standard matching! The Pantone SkinTone Guide was created by scientifically measuring thousands of real skin tones, across the entire spectrum of human skin types.

3. FINAL PRODUCT & RATING

Sample Approval Tools - Does your product match the colors you specified?

Lighting Assessment - How can you be sure your paint appears in the right light?

Thanks to light indicator stickers and light booths, you can be sure that you always assess your colors under the right lighting conditions.
