SpectroDens Basic
With SpectroDens we provide you with a measuring device that can be used universally for quality control in the printing industry and in other areas where colors have to be critically assessed. SpectroDens is ideally suited to the respective application. The individually adjustable user interface allows it to be quickly adapted to the current task. The solid aluminum unibody housing makes the measuring device a reliable tool even in harsh environments. Direct positioning on the measuring field ensures safe and fast measurements. All SpectroDens models are equipped with wheels so that in addition to individual measurements, scan measurements of up to 200 measuring fields on print control strips and media wedges can be carried out.
As a spectral densitometer, SpectroDens combines the high precision of a spectrophotometer with the ease of use of a densitometer. The measurement is carried out across the entire color spectrum, ie the complete color information is recorded precisely. This spectral data is then converted into easily evaluated measured values and displayed:
- Densitometric values are widely used for quality control on the printing press.
- Colorimetric values are used in the evaluation of print templates, the creation of color profiles and the determination and formulation of special colors
