PocketWizard's new firmware platform taps into the full potential of your camera and flash system, enabling a whole new level of remote flash control through our proven radio communication. ControlTL firmware is configurable and can be updated for the future with continuous improvements.
Manual performance control
When the PowerST4 is combined with either the MiniTT1 or the FlexTT5 on your camera, you can adjust the power settings of your Elinchrom RX flashes from the camera location, using either the flash exposure compensation dial or add the AC3 ZoneController to control three zones of power control.
zone control
Use either the AC3 ZoneController or a MultiMAX radio to control up to three lighting zones with as many lights in a zone as you need. Use the ABC zone switch on the PowerST4 to assign the zone.
Power Tracking
In Auto mode, when you change the light sensitivity, aperture or FEC, the flashes automatically adjust to their power settings using PocketWizard PowerTracking. Set your AC3 ZoneController to manual and PowerTracking is turned off for total manual control. PowerTracking can be customized using the PocketWizard utility.
HyperSync®
HyperSync allows photographers to achieve faster X-sync speeds with flashes up to 1/8000s* at full power. Now you can cut off ambient light and use wide apertures in direct sunlight. This extra speed allows you to freeze fast movements, whether it's models or athletes in motion. *Depends on camera and flash model.
Programmable and Upgradeable: Use the PocketWizard utility with the PowerST4 USB port to program the receiver for any PocketWizard channel and zone. You can also program your initial power settings, light settings, and signal settings through the use of the utility. The PowerST4 can be easily upgraded whenever updates and feature enhancements are available.
channels / learning mode
The PowerST4 can be programmed with up to 20 Control TL channels for manual power control or 32 standard channels for easy triggering (FCC model) if required. Channels can be configured using the PocketWizard utility, the learning function of another PocketWizard radio, or the reset function to factory settings.
backward compatibility
The PowerST4 receiver works on the same channels as all other PocketWizard radios and with any PocketWizard radios you already own.
Flat design
The PowerST4 is small and can be easily connected to the remote socket of an Elinchrom RX flash unit.
Please note: Ranger RX requires EL-19374 EL Skyport Transceiver RX Adapter.
No batteries required: The PowerST4 gets its power from the flash unit.
