The ColorChecker Gray Balance Mini is the smaller version of the Gray Balance Card with a size of only 63.5 x 109.0mm.
Using the ColorChecker Gray Balance Mini for reflectance metering gives you the confidence that your images are exposed as accurately as possible. The ColorChecker Gray Balance Mini is a portable version of the standard 24-patch ColorChecker's 18% gray reference patch. The gray has been scientifically formulated to provide a precise, uniform surface that is spectrally neutral, meaning it reflects equal amounts of red, blue, and green in all lighting conditions.
The ColorChecker Gray Balance Mini Target can be used for a variety of applications:
- Digital photography: exposure metering and gray balance. Adjusts the color sensitivity of your digital camera to match the ambient lighting conditions
- Traditional photography: Review films, lights, filters and papers.
- Cinematography (television and video): Check gray balance by properly configuring camera, lighting and film.
