The RAL color standard for plastics
All RAL P1 color swatches are available individually. RAL P1 comprises the 100 most frequently requested colors from the RAL CLASSIC color collection, introduced under the product name RAL P1.
The multifunctionality of RAL PLASTICS plastic color sheets offers maximum practical benefit: Three different surface structures and three different material thicknesses give the user a realistic impression of the color effect in a wide variety of material applications.
Three different surface textures – high-gloss polished, VDI 24, and VDI 42 – show the user the color depending on the roughness. Three different thicknesses of the swatches allow the user to view the respective color either opaquely or in varying degrees of opacity. The RAL PLASTICS color swatches (DIN A6 format) are made of polypropylene, a commodity plastic used in many finished products.
